Pellet prices in Switzerland fell again significantly more in the current month than in April and also fell significantly as compared to May 2019. Even the previous long-term record low from May 2019 (CHF 351.1 / t) was exceeded.
Compared to April 2020 (CHF 361.8 / t), the average price fell by -4.9% to CHF 344.1 / t in May 2020.
In April it was -3% in a monthly comparison, according to data from pelletpreis.ch. Compared to May 2019 (CHF 351.1 / t), the decline is of -1.9%.
Depending on the purchase quantity, the individual prices developed as follows:
- 3 t: CHF 355.56 / t (-5.3% compared to 04/2020, -1.9% compared to 05/2019)
- 5 t: CHF 342.4 / t (-5.2% compared to 04/2020, -2.1% compared to 05/2019)
- 8 t: CHF 334.28 / t (-4.4% compared to 04/2020, -1.9% compared to 05/2019)
- 17 t: CHF 323.72 / t (-3.1% compared to 04/2020, -2.1% compared to 05/2019)
