FSC to enhance relevance and understanding of its global brand

With more than half of global consumers recognizing and trusting the ’check tree’ logo, the FSC brand has built a strong foundation of awareness over the years.

To continue to grow brand value, FSC is taking measures to increase consumer understanding of what the FSC brand stands for. “Forests For All Forever” is central to FSC’s strategy to increase consumer understanding – it is a simple and inspiring way to articulate FSC’s mission. FSC will therefore position “Forests For All Forever” more strongly and clearly in the future.

FSC is increasing the number of language versions of the text-only brandmark from 7 to 14. While English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified) and Russian are already supported, consumers in Italy, Poland, Turkey, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia will also be able to learn about FSC’s mission in their local language within the next year.

To focus on Forests For All Forever more clearly (reflected in the text-only mark), FSC is phasing out the mark with animal silhouettes overtime.
