In January 2014 pellets have become more expensive in Switzerland. The average price rose from CHF 417.3/tonne (EUR 338.36) in December 2013 to CHF 420.3/tonne (EUR 340.79) in January. This represents a slight increase of 0,07%. However, as compared to January 2013, the increase is of 5,5%.
For orders of 3 tonnes the current price is CHF 433.87/t (EUR 351.8); for 5t purchases CHF 419.22/t (EUR 339.92); while for larger quantities (8t) the price is CHF 407.83/t (EUR 330.68).
The price advantage over fuel oil stands now at around 21%.
