John Deere Forestry has signed a new dealership agreement with Timbermash-Baikal, Siberia. The new dealer, Timbermash-Baikal, will be responsible for new and used equipment sales, training and service in Siberia. Timbermash-Baikal is located in Irkutsk, but its sales- and service network covers also Bratsk and Krasnojarsk.
“Siberia is the growth area of Russian forestry, and China has the increasing need for good raw material. Siberia has around 200 million m3 cutting potential, but only 40 million m3 of that are used at the moment, 90% are done with the full tree technology.
